Programme Description
The Russian-British Programme “International Management” is designed to qualify students for a career in multinational corporations and on international markets. As this work requires special knowledge and skills, they need to understand macro conditions of their business, its global competitive advantage, concept and techniques of international business transactions, specific features of multinational companies, online enterprises and firms, human resources management in a cross-cultural environment, work procedures on the international markets in goods, services and capital, to master at least two foreign languages, to acquire competence in the use of IT in management. Along with fundamental training in management, these specialists need to have expertise in international business and world economy.

Internships |
The training under the Joint Diploma Programme is carried out in accordance with the coordinated Curriculum. Its specific features include two linguistic and regional studies internships (after the 1st year in the UK and after the 2nd year in Germany), exchange education during the 3rd year at Edinburgh Napier University, training in a range of economic, administrative and IT disciplines in English. Education internships and industrial placements are an integral part of the curriculum. They help to consolidate knowledge acquired by a student after the completion of the theoretical courses, develop practical skills and contribute to the formation of universal cultural and professional competencies of students. The aim of students’ linguistic and regional studies internships in the UK and Germany is to familiarize them with the country of the language they study and to put the acquired knowledge to the test, to immerse into foreign environment and to develop oral communication skills with native speakers. |
