Programme Description

  • The Course provides students with a deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of accounting, economic, analytical, organizational and managerial activities; gives an insight into the state and trends of the world economy, taking into account the processes of globalisation and transition of developed countries to the information society; imparts information and analytical data on the corresponding economic categories, concepts and processes.
  • Training is conducted in Russian (BA Programme) and French (Licence Programme for those who want to get a degree of PFUR and UNSA). Students enrolled in the joint-diploma programme have a foreign- language internship in Nice after the first year of studies. Within three years of study, students should study at the University of Nice during at least 1 term (maybe 2 terms).
Opening year of the Programme and the number of graduates
In 1999, the first admission for the Degree in “World Economics” was made. Total number of graduates with the Specialist Degree is 464.
The first admission for the BA Programme “Economics” (specialisation “World Economics”) was made in 2011.

Programme Description

Joint-diploma programme is designed for those who, along with expertise in international economics, would like to obtain the diploma of the European University, as well as to improve their knowledge of the French language and experience immersion in the language and cultural environment.

Internships
  • In accordance with the curriculum, students have finance and economic internship – two weeks in the sixth term and pre-degree internship – six weeks in the eighth term.
  • Internships are held in banks, monetary departments and departments of foreign economic activity of enterprises and organisations, Moscow customs, government agencies, foreign firms and at departments.
  • It is possible to have internship in the EU (with the assistance of the company "InterFrance"), training internships in Colombia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
  • After the first year of training under the Joint-Diploma Programme there is the foreign language internship in Nice (language level B1 (DALF / TCF)) or in London.

  • An original or  photocopy of documents proving identity and citizenship;

  • An original or  photocopy of a Russian Federation standard document confirming the level of education (or its foreign equivalent; in this case, a person must provide a certificate proving the recognition and equivalence of a foreign document);

  • An original or  photocopy of the Certificate of results of the Unified State Examination (if available)
