Programme Description

The Course provides students with a deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of marketing communications, development and launch of advertising and PR-campaigns, reputation management, communication management applicable both on domestic and global markets.

Opening year of the Programme and the number of graduates
In 2000, the first admission for the Degree in “Advertising” was made. Total number of graduates with the Specialist Degree is more than 400.
The first admission for the BA Programme “Advertising and Public Relations” (specialisation “Advertising” and “Public Relations” was made in 2011.

Graduates’ employment data
  • Minimal wage after graduation is 30,000 RUR per month, after a year – 60,000 RUR per month or more depending on the specialisation.
  • Key employees can earn 300,000 RUR per month and more, bonuses and perquisites provided.
  • 25% of graduates work in advertising agencies, including international advertising agencies; 45% work as in-house advertising specialists, 20% are employed in related areas: direct sales, business research, production, publishing, etc. Only 10% do not work in the field of their specialisation

Internships (incl. internships abroad)
In accordance with the curriculum, students have education internship (two weeks in the 4th semester) and industrial (twelve weeks in the 8th semester). Internship depends on students’ educational and professional interests.
Internships are held in major international communication, media and advertising agencies, in advertising and PR-departments of large companies, in press service of state institutions, in publishing houses and production centres.

There is also a foreign internship for Cannes Lions (France), one of the most famous festivals in the world of advertising.

  • An original or photocopy of a Russian Federation standard document confirming the level of education (or its foreign equivalent; in this case, a person must provide a certificate proving the recognition and equivalence of a foreign document);
